For the people who care for your people

The right care.
The right door.
Before the claim.

Give your employees—and their households—a medical team they can text, call or see by video. A familiar first step for everyday care, before a small concern becomes a costly detour.

You see the cost of the wrong starting point

Better access for them.
Less friction for you.

A benefits package matters most when people can actually use it. Tap gives everyday health questions somewhere to go—without turning HR into the care desk.

01

A question becomes
a trip across town.

A refill, a sick child, an unfamiliar symptom. Without a trusted first call, employees are left guessing where to go.

A clinician helps them take the appropriate next step.

02

A household falls
outside the plan.

Your employee has coverage. Their spouse or children may not. The worry and disruption still come to work with them.

Tap household access is separate from health-plan enrollment.

A benefit gets lost
behind a login.

Another download. Another password. Another number to look up when someone already feels unwell.

Save the number once. Start with an ordinary text.

Start with the people behind the plan

Your benefit.
Their whole family.

One phone number can change how your employees—and everyone at home—reach care.

The HR film follows the gap between having a benefit and reaching care. Created for city HR teams, it starts a broader conversation about care for employees and their households.

Healthcare infrastructure for your workforce

Build the connection
before the claim.

Your insurance plan helps finance covered care. Tap adds an independent layer before that: a clinician employees can reach to address everyday needs and help choose the right door.

01 / Connect

A person needs help.

A question. A refill request. A child who is sick. They text Tap instead of navigating care alone.

No insurance claim to start. Access is through the Tap benefit.

02 / Care

A clinician makes a plan.

A licensed physician, PA or nurse practitioner assesses the concern and provides care when appropriate.

No Tap copay. No Tap claim. Tap does not bill your health insurer.

03 / The right door

Resolve it here.
Or connect to care.

Many everyday needs can be handled remotely. When an examination, testing or other care is needed, Tap helps guide the next step.

Appropriate care comes first. Outside care can have separate charges and insurance claims.

A better conversation
at renewal.

When clinically appropriate care avoids unnecessary high-cost visits, it can reduce avoidable claims. For self-funded employers, that can affect plan spending; for fully insured employers, better claims experience may help renewal discussions. Your funding arrangement and insurer’s pricing determine the impact. Lower rates next year are not guaranteed.

The access people associate with concierge medicine

“I have a medical question.”
Now they have a number.

Open your texts. Send your question. A clinician texts you back. It’s a familiar conversation, with photos, phone or video available when they help.

Try a sample text in the phone. See the doctor’s reply.

Concierge-like access to a care team, including physicians, PAs and nurse practitioners. Tap works alongside primary care; treatment and prescribing depend on clinical assessment.

Sometimes progress is making something familiar easier to use. Tap applies that idea to healthcare: put a medical team within reach, through the phone people already have.

These films introduce Tap’s community-program model. Their city-services closing cards describe that context; an employer program has its own agreement and eligibility.

The questions behind the decision

Clear answers
for HR.

We already have telemedicine. Why add Tap?

Start with who can use your current benefit and how easily they can reach it. Tap’s employer model gives an employee’s household a direct number, independently of who is enrolled in the health plan. Compare household eligibility, the steps to start care, copays, utilization and the full cost with your benefits team.

Does “no claim” mean there are never other costs?

No. Tap does not submit an insurance claim or charge a copay for Tap-delivered care. A prescription filled at a pharmacy, a lab, imaging, a specialist, an in-person visit or an emergency department may involve separate charges or claims. Your care team helps explain the next step.

Will Tap lower our next insurance renewal?

It may help reduce avoidable claims when employees receive appropriate care through Tap instead of unnecessary higher-cost settings. That is different from a guaranteed premium reduction. Renewal rates also depend on your plan structure, overall claims experience, medical cost trends and insurer pricing. Review outcomes with your broker, insurer or plan administrator.

Is this only for city employees?

Cities are central to Tap’s experience. This page is for HR leaders in municipal workforces and other organizations exploring the same need: easier access to everyday care for employees and their households. Tap can discuss availability, fit, eligibility and terms for your organization.

What does HR need to manage?

Before launch, agree on the eligibility list, household setup, employee communications, support contacts and reporting. Tap operates clinical care. HR should receive agreed aggregate program reporting rather than individual care details. Confirm the exact responsibilities and data requirements during implementation.

What about emergencies or care that needs an examination?

For an emergency, call 911 immediately. Do not wait for a Tap reply. Tap is for non-emergency care and does not replace primary care or in-person evaluation. Clinicians refer people to the appropriate setting when remote care is not enough. Tap does not prescribe controlled substances.

Offer details, film context & reported results

This page uses the employer offer and service details supplied in Tap’s HR film package dated October 6, 2026: $9 per employee per month, household access, no copay for Tap care, 7 AM–10 PM Central daily, and a 30-day exit. Final eligibility, availability and terms are set in the employer agreement.

The HR film cites published public-plan utilization alongside results reported by Tap. Those figures involve different populations and denominators and should not be treated as a direct comparison or an expected result for another employer. The film’s response-time, care-resolution and ER-diversion figures are Tap-reported claims, not independently verified on this page. Request the underlying reporting periods, definitions and methods when evaluating the program.

The innovation films describe the community-program model and use a historical design analogy. Neither city participation nor an employer agreement is established by viewing this page. Images and conversations are illustrations; they are not patient stories or individual medical advice.
