Asthma support
Asthma symptoms can worsen quickly. Follow your prescribed asthma action plan rather than waiting for a text response during an attack.
Common symptoms
- Wheezing or cough
- Chest tightness
- Shortness of breath
A useful care conversation
For non-emergency support, share your established diagnosis, action plan, inhalers, recent symptoms and response to the reliever. A clinician can review whether your current plan needs follow-up or an in-person assessment. A refill is not a substitute for treating an active severe attack.
When to seek more care
- Call 911 if breathing is very hard or your prescribed medicine is not relieving an asthma attack.
- Blue or gray lips, confusion or drowsiness are emergency warning signs.
General educational information, not a diagnosis or a complete symptom checker. The right care depends on your circumstances.
For an emergency, call 911. Do not wait for a Tap reply or send a photo first.
