How it works
Tap connects patients to quality healthcare. In just a few minutes, our doctors can assess your symptoms, recommend treatments, and even send prescriptions to your local pharmacy with a simple text. We’re here to remove barriers to care, empowering patients to take charge of their health with just a tap.
Tap works by partnering with cities to bring the service to their entire community as a low-cost, optional benefit for residents. If you live in a city that partners with Tap, you already have access. See if your city is covered.
How it works
1. Send a text
When you’re not feeling well, just text your city’s dedicated Tap number. No app to download, no account to create, no appointment to schedule.
Just send a message describing how you’re feeling and a medical provider will take it from there.
2. Talk to a provider and get care
Within a couple of minutes, a real medical provider will respond. They’ll ask you a few questions about your symptoms, figure out what’s going on, and walk you through your options.
If you need a prescription, they’ll send it straight to your nearest pharmacy.
3. Get back to your day
That’s it. No waiting room, no co-pay, no half-day lost. Your provider will check in on how you’re feeling in 48 hours to make sure you’re on the right track.
